James Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. James is currently employed by Gift & Go as the Global Operations Director, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Operations at Gift & Go from June 2019 to January 2021.
In 2023, James is set to join Boost Humidity Control UK (Ltd) as the Director of Operations. In this role, they will oversee the operations of this salt-free industry-leading humidity control technology distributor.
Before joining Gift & Go, James worked as the Head of Operations at Initial Rewards from June 2019 to June 2020. Additionally, they were the Project Director for No.6 Cavendish Cigar Merchants from March 2018 to April 2020.
From 2016 to 2017, James held the position of Product Owner at Blackhawk Network Europe. Here, they led the development and digitalization project for one of the core products in the Blackhawk Network Portfolio - Select.
James has also held various roles at Grass Roots, starting as a Fulfilment Co-Ordinator from October 2006 to December 2009. James then served as an Operations Team Leader and Print Manager from January to December 2010. From January 2011 to December 2012, they were the Operations and Print Manager, responsible for overseeing production, procurement, and planning. Finally, from 2013 to 2017, James held the position of Head of Operations at Grass Roots, where they managed a team of direct and indirect reports and led medium-term planning and business management strategies.
Prior to their roles at Grass Roots, James worked as an Administrative Assistant at various companies from March 2005 to September 2006. James also gained experience as a Sales Assistant/Assistant Manager at Apollo Entertainment Ltd from September 2000 to March 2005, where they served customers, managed stock, and handled cash transactions. This position was part-time while they were attending university.
James Wilson attended Archdeacon Cambridge Infant School from 1985 to 1989. From 1989 to 1995, they studied at Newland House School. James then attended Hampton School from 1995 to 2000, but it is not specified if they obtained a degree or field of study from those schools. Finally, from 2001 to 2004, James Wilson pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Public Policy, Government, and Management at the University of Birmingham.
