Andrew Glantz is the founder and CEO of GiftAMeal, an app that connects users with local restaurants to help fight hunger. Andrew is also a co-owner of SWAP (Sharing with a Purpose), a non-profit storefront that promotes reuse and sustainability.

Andrew has always been passionate about giving back and making a difference. In college, they interned at Navitas Capital, a venture capital firm at the intersection of the IT and Energy sectors with a unique focus on the Intelligent Building & Enterprise space. There, they wrote a white paper evaluating the Smart Buildings and Internet of Things space and conducted due diligence on prospective startups.

After graduation, Andrew co-founded SWAP, where they implemented ideas for increased revenue generation, expansion of customer base, as well as programming and events. Under their leadership, SWAP diverted 1.5 tons of waste annually.

In 2016, Andrew had the idea for GiftAMeal, an app that would allow users to donate meals to those in need simply by taking a photo of their restaurant meal. Andrew quit their day job, raised $100,000 in seed funding, and launched the app in the fall of 2017. GiftAMeal has since partnered with over 200 restaurants in St. Louis and Chicago and has donated over 100,000 meals to food insecure individuals.

Andrew Glantz's educational career includes earning a Bachelor's Degree in Leadership and Strategic Management from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a minor in Political Science. Andrew also attended Brentwood School for their undergraduate education.
