Sangita Verma

Sangita Verma has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Starting in 2000, they worked as the General Manager - Emerging Platforms at Midway, where they were responsible for taking the company's game brands onto Internet, Mobile, and Interactive TV platforms. Sangita also negotiated important licensing, development, and distribution deals.

In 2003, Verma founded TAG Networks and served as Founder and CEO. Sangita secured $30 million in funding and was recognized as one of CableWorld Magazine's Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Cable Technology. Verma visualized an interactive TV games channel and built a team to create the necessary technology.

From 2011 to 2013, Verma co-founded and served as CEO of Merge Media LLC, a company focused on creating games and apps that combined entertainment, games, social media, learning, commerce, and advertising. Sangita led strategic planning, business development, and secured agreements with top entertainment companies.

Verma was the CEO of Redux from 2012 to 2014. Sangita was recruited to turn around the struggling video discovery start-up, secured additional funding, and expanded the company into mobile. Sangita also spun out a successful intellectual property called Tenor, which was acquired by Google.

From 2014 to 2018, Verma served as CEO and Co-founder of HiLytes, Inc. Sangita was recruited by Stanford Research Institute International and focused the company on creating automatic highlights and videos for eSports players. Sangita secured $1 million in funding for the company.

Verma joined TrepCamp in 2016 as an Advisor and Instructor. Sangita provided guidance and instruction to the organization until 2019.

From 2018 to 2020, Verma served as the Chief Strategy Officer of SPRING, where they created successful Go-to-Market and Direct-to-Consumer strategies for consumer products, gaming, AR/VR, and Robotics.

Verma served as a Strategy Advisor at Expert DOJO in 2020. The company is a start-up community in Southern California that supports early-stage entrepreneurs.

Currently, Verma is the Chief Executive Officer of GiftSuite. The company provides a corporate gifting solution that fosters positive company culture and morale. It is BIPOC, female-owned, and LGBTQIA-friendly, and actively supports socially conscious small businesses.

Verma also served as a Board Advisor at TraceTrust from 2018 to 2021.
