Jordy den Boer

Jordy den Boer has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to 2023.

Jordy started their career at DNV GL as a Consultant in the field of electricity transmission and distribution, where they worked on various projects related to high voltage components, power failure investigations, power quality, and risk analysis. Jordy also served as a Project Engineer for the extension of the High Power Laboratory.

In 2015, Jordy joined TenneT as a Technologist, specializing in circuit breakers. Jordy was responsible for technical specifications, tendering, evaluation of offers, negotiation meetings, and acceptance of new HV circuit breaker developments.

Jordy later worked at Balance - Advies, Projecten, Interim as a Consultant, providing tendering support and serving as the Lead Auditor for TenneT UAV-gc projects.

Jordy also owned den Boer High Voltage Engineering & Projects, where they managed high voltage engineering projects.

Jordy then joined TenneT again in 2017 as a Lead Engineer, working on projects related to gas insulated switchgear, compensation filters, bushings, and 110-150 kV PoC stations veldvervanging.

In 2021, Jordy worked at ProRail as a Rail System Engineer, specifically focusing on traction power supply. Jordy also became a co-owner of West Coast General Store.

Prior to their current role, Jordy worked at Voltado as a Managing Partner, specializing in the design and management of integral projects.

Currently, Jordy den Boer is working at GIGA Storage as a Lead Engineer, focusing on Battery Energy Storage Systems.

Jordy den Boer completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in E-technology (Electrical Engineering) at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Lead auditor ISO 9001 from Lloyd's Register in September 2017, VCA-VOL from PBNA in November 2021, and IPMA-D from IPMA: International Project Management Association in March 2018.
