Daniel S. Kirby

Mr. Daniel S. Kirby has supported Giga-tronics as a Director of Business Development since 2013 and now serves the Company as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Kirby is responsible for guiding the Company’s long-term strategy to penetrate the market for its Radar and Electronic Warfare test solutions. Mr. Kirby is also responsible for building and managing the Giga-tronics business development team, as well as, identifying suitable partners to help expand Giga-tronics solutions into all branches of the services.

Mr. Kirby has served 21 years in the US Air Force in the Electronic Warfare career field, retiring as the Chief of Advanced Systems – associated with the Big Safari Program. While in the Air Force, he supported 12 different special mission programs including his primary program, the EC-130H Compass Call. After retiring from the Air Force, Mr. Kirby joined Aeroflex in a business development role providing specialized test solutions for the Military and Commercial market for 8 years and then transitioned to the Tektronix Mil-Aero Key Account Management team providing advanced test capabilities for Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Aerospace Corporation and Lockheed Martin prior to joining Giga-tronics in 2013 as the Director of Business Development.
