Scott Chorna

Scott Chorna has extensive experience in business development, sales operations, and international expansion. Scott served as the Vice President of Sales Operations at GigaCloud Technology starting in 2019. Prior to this, they were the Business Development Director, China at ICWG Ltd from 2015 to 2018, where they successfully developed and managed the China business for the largest operator of conveyor car washes globally. From 2013 to 2015, Scott was the Senior Vice President of International Development at Johnny Rockets, where they provided overall leadership and strategic direction for the brand's international expansion. Scott also worked at Focus Brands as the Director of International New Business Development from 2010 to 2013. Furthermore, Scott held the position of Regional Director, Asia Pacific Region at Pernod Ricard/The Absolut Company from 2004 to 2010, where they were responsible for managing the premium spirits portfolio and setting up the company's only international branch office. Scott also worked at Allied Domecq QSR from 1998 to 2004 in various roles, such as International Business Manager, General Manager, and Director of Retail Operations, where they oversaw operations, development, and brand presence of major QSR brands in the Asia-Pacific region. Scott's career began at Subway in 1995, where they played a crucial role in launching the first two franchises of Subway Restaurants in Taiwan as an Operations Manager.

Scott Chorna obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian History from UC Santa Barbara from 1988 to 1992. In 1994 to 1995, they studied Mandarin Chinese at National Taiwan Normal University. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) from the International Franchise Association in 2015.
