Ellen Wagner

Ellen Wagner has a diverse work experience in the field of research and engineering. Ellen is currently the Director of Research at GigaGen Inc since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Director of Research at GigaGen Inc from January 2021 to May 2023. Ellen also worked as a Senior Scientist at GigaGen Inc from October 2018 to January 2021.

Before joining GigaGen Inc, Ellen worked as a Scientist/Consultant at GigaMune from October 2018 to March 2022. Ellen also gained experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Achaogen from October 2017 to October 2018.

Ellen's earlier experiences include working as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2012 to August 2017. Ellen also served as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Oslo in 2016.

Their career started as a Process Engineer at CH2M HILL from July 2011 to August 2012.

Ellen Wagner received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. During their undergraduate years, they also obtained a certification as an Engineer in Training in the field of chemical engineering from NCEES in 2011. Ellen went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 2012 to 2017.
