John Mattes

John Mattes has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John started their career as a Technical Support Specialist at Shomiti Systems, where they provided support for different products and supported a partner company. John then moved on to become a West Coast Sales Engineer at Finisar Network Tools, responsible for sales and marketing activities. After that, they joined Net Optics as a Field Applications Engineer.

In 2010, John joined Gigamon, LLC, where they had two roles. Initially, they worked as a Technical Marketing Engineer, responsible for creating technical drawings and collateral, customer presentations, competitive intelligence, product management collaboration, and training presentations. Later, they became a Senior Sales Engineer for the TOLA region, where they managed pre-sales support, conducted product evaluations and demonstrations, consulted with customers to achieve network monitoring goals, and trained partners and customers.

In 2015, John became the owner of their own business, John Mattes Fitness, where they help people achieve physical and mental transformations through executive coaching, workouts, and nutrition support. John focuses on habit-based coaching and personalized nutrition and exercise approaches to suit clients' goals and lifestyles.

John Mattes obtained their degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2007 and their degree in Electronics and Networking Technology from Heald College in 2000. In addition, they obtained a certification from the Primal Health Coach Institute in October 2018.
