Sandeep Deshpande

Sandeep Deshpande has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 2001 as a Software Engineer at Infosys. Their roles at Infosys included working on Solutions Design for Next Gen IP Networks of British Telecom and developing EMS for Cisco Call Manager. Sandeep then joined Cisco Systems in 2008, where they worked as a Software Engineer and later as a Lead Software Engineer. At Cisco, they were involved in bug fixing, development, and optimization of various software modules related to SMB Protocol, WAN Optimization, and Cisco Security Management. In 2014, Sandeep joined Ericsson as a Software Engineer before moving to FireEye, Inc. in 2015 as a Staff Software Engineer. Sandeep then joined Gigamon in 2016 as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and later as a Principal Software Engineer, focusing on orchestrating containerized broker products using Kubernetes and Java stack. Currently, Sandeep is working at VMware since 2021 as a Senior MTS, where they are involved in TLS Certificate Management and EAL4 certifications for the NSX-T product.

Sandeep Deshpande completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics & Communication from Karnatak University, from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended J.S.S College in Dharwad from 1994 to 1996, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. Sandeep also attended K.E. Boards High School, though the exact start year is unknown, they completed their education there in 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Sandeep Deshpande has obtained certifications in Ethical Hacking: Cryptography from LinkedIn in April 2021 and in Java Memory Management from LinkedIn in December 2020.
