Raluca Dinu is the Founding Managing Partner at GigCapital. Raluca has over twenty years of experience in the technology industry.

Raluca started their career as a Physics Engineer at the National Institute for Lasers, Plasma and Radiation. After four years, they transitioned to the private sector and joined Lumera Corporation. Raluca spent seven years at Lumera, eventually becoming Vice President.

In 2008, they joined GigOptix Inc. as EVP Global Customer Support. After eight years with the company, they were promoted to Chief Operating Officer of GigPeak. Raluca held this position for two years before joining IDT - Integrated Device Technology, Inc. as General Manager and Vice President of the Optical Interconnects Division.

In 2020, they left IDT to become Chair of Strategic Advisory Board at Kaleyra. Raluca served in this role for just over a year before joining Lightning eMotors as a BOD Member.
