Mostafa Naemi is an energy analytics leader with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and nearly five years of experience in senior roles within Australia’s energy sector. They specialize in risk modeling, portfolio analytics, and optimization of battery storage and hybrid energy systems, having developed advanced analytical models including Monte Carlo-based Earnings at Risk (EaR) and Value at Risk (VaR). Mostafa has held positions at ZEN Energy, Cornwall Insight Australia, and AGL Energy, focusing on enhancing financial risk management and developing innovative tools for data analysis and visualization. Currently, Mostafa serves as the Energy Analytics Lead at Powerline, continuing to drive collaboration and mentor teams in their field.
