Naoko Kimura

Naoko Kimura is a seasoned professional in the field of impact investing and sustainability, currently serving as the Director of Membership Growth and Global Operations at The Global Impact Investing Network since May 2018. In this role, Kimura focuses on expanding the organization's global presence through its network of members and senior advisors. Prior experience includes serving as a Sustainability Advisory Council Member for Ajinomoto Co., Inc. and as Manager of Participant Relations at the United Nations Global Compact, where responsibilities included managing relationships with companies and curating discussions on sustainable finance. Additionally, Kimura held various roles at Morgan Stanley, contributing to post-merger integration and marketing for institutional investors, and had earlier experiences at Merrill Lynch and UNESCO Bangkok. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Economics and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, a research exchange in Neurobiology from The University of Manchester, and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Tsukuba.
