Fernando Pires

Fernando Pires is a Technical Specialist in Backup at Gijima since October 2022, focusing on building and designing IT systems with coding. Prior to this role, Fernando served as a Senior Backup Engineer at T-Systems from October 2011 to December 2022, where responsibilities included high-level design, installation, maintenance, and administration of enterprise backup solutions, as well as development of reporting and billing automation. Fernando's earlier experience includes working as a Backup Engineer and Tape Administrator, managing tape libraries and providing technical support to enterprise clients. Fernando holds an MCITP degree from ITTC, completed between 2011 and 2012, and graduated from Sutherland High School in 2010.
