Gila County
Carrie Bartling is the Director of Information Technology at Gila County since April 2013. Prior to this, Carrie held various technology-related positions at companies such as Sun Life Family Health Center, Delta-Montrose Technical College, Gateway Canyons LLC, and Gateway Canyons Resort. Carrie is currently pursuing an Associate of Science in Computer Information Systems at Ashworth College.

Covering 4,796 square miles, Gila County has always been a great place to live, work and play. Located in Central Arizona, Gila County enjoys a wonderful climate year round. Recreation areas abound, including Roosevelt Lake, Tonto National Monument, Tonto Natural Bridge State Park, and Fossil Creek, plus several designated Wilderness Areas and popular camping areas within the Tonto National Forest, while only a forty-five (45) minute drive to the Phoenix Metroplex. Gila County is also home to the Tonto Apache Reservation and parts of the Fort Apache and San Carlos Apache Reservations. Cities and Towns in Gila County include Globe, Hayden, Miami, Payson, Star Valley and Winkelman, along with a large number of rural unincorporated communities
