Gila River Health Care
Michele Burke is an experienced healthcare professional with a solid background in pediatric case management and nursing. Currently serving as a Pediatric Case Manager at Gila River Health Care since June 2012, Michele manages care coordination and discharge planning for a significant caseload of pediatric patients from the tribal community while advocating for quality care and respect for patients and families. Prior roles include Case Manager at Phoenix Children's Hospital, where Michele managed patient care plans and discharge processes, and Clinical RN Comprehensive Care at Healthways, focusing on chronic illness management. Earlier in the career, Michele held leadership roles and nursing positions at various healthcare institutions, including Gila River Health Care, Phoenix Children's Hospital, Scottsdale Healthcare, and Truman Medical Centers. Michele earned an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a BSN from the University of Central Missouri.
