Doug Simpson

Doug Simpson, CWCP has over 30 years of work experience in security and law enforcement. Doug began their career as a Police Officer with the City of Riverside, Ohio in 1992, where they served until 1997. In 1990, they joined Five Rivers MetroParks as a Ranger Detective, and remained in that role until 1998. From 1998 to 2017, Simpson worked at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, where they served as the Director of Security & Risk Management. Since 2017, they have been with Gila River Resorts & Casinos, initially as the Director of Corporate Security and currently as the Chief Security & Surveillance Officer.

Doug Simpson, CWCP, completed a Law Enforcement program at the Miami Valley Regional Law Enforcement Academy in 1990. Prior to that, they attended Wright State University from 1986 to 1988, majoring in Engineering. Their education also includes attending Greater Cincinnati Christian Academy from 1983 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a COVID-19 Contact Tracing Certification from John Hopkins University in 2020.
