Hugo de Bruin joined Gilde Healthcare in 2011. As a partner in the Healthcare Services team, he is involved in origination and execution of transactions as well as the management of portfolio companies. He also has a focus on investments in Germany. Hugo is actively involved with the portfolio companies BlijWerkt, Fysius, Zetacom, Mercachem/Syncom and Performation. He has frequent contact with management and is supporting them in their strategic, growth and financial plans.
Prior to joining Gilde he was a corporate finance advisor in Healthcare at Boer&Croon. Hugo originated and executed transactions, primary in the Dutch healthcare sector. He was also involved in recovery advisory for numerous healthcare institutions. He gained deep knowledge of both the regulation in the healthcare sector as well as the market dynamics.
Hugo has a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Artificial Intelligence from Utrecht University and a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Next to his mothertongue Dutch, Hugo is fluent in English and German.
