Jasper van Gorp joined Gilde Healthcare in 2008 following nearly ten years with McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey, Jasper was a junior partner working in Healthcare Services and various other sectors. He gained deep international expertise in operational turnarounds, M&A, corporate strategy, business development and regulatory management.
Jasper is co-founder of the Gilde Healthcare Services funds and is responsible for the fund management and investments of these funds. He led the investment in Stepping Stones Home & Care, Pharmaline, Viroclinics and RAD-x and serves or served as board member for these portfolio companies for the Gilde Healthcare Services fund.
Jasper van Gorp has a MSc in Pharmacy and a PharmD from Utrecht University and also studied at University of California San Diego. In addition he received an MBA from INSEAD in France specializing in Corporate Finance, Private Equity & Venture Capital. He is a Dutch national.
