Carrissa Phillippe Williams, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Small Victories Wellness Services, a psychotherapy practice in Connecticut, established in November 2017. In addition to this role, Carrissa serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hartford and a Board Member at Gilead Community Services, Inc. Previously, Carrissa co-founded TeleHaven and held various roles including Post Doctoral Fellow and Doctoral Intern at the University of New Hampshire. Educational credentials include a PhD and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas, where Carrissa also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and participated in several doctoral practicums, including providing mental health services to veterans. Carrissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University.
