Arvind Parthasarathy

Arvind Parthasarathy is a seasoned packaging engineer with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Senior Packaging Engineer II at Gilead Sciences since October 2024, Arvind previously held multiple leadership positions at Zimmer Biomet, including Engineering Manager and Principal Packaging Engineer, where responsibilities included leading a team of twelve engineers and overseeing continuous process improvements. Arvind's background features a blend of engineering roles, starting with a Packaging Technician at the RIT Packaging Dynamics Lab, extending through research assistant positions, internships at prominent firms, and a co-op at CooperVision. Arvind holds a Master's Degree in Packaging Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology.
