Bo Jiang

Bo Jiang is a Principal Scientist at Gilead Sciences since July 2021, focusing on enhancing the efficiency and quality of CHO cell lines for clinical and commercial use. Prior experience at Merck included roles as Principal Scientist where efforts were directed towards CHO cell line engineering and improving Pichia pastoris strains for protein therapeutics, alongside supervising research teams. Earlier roles also included a Research Fellow position at Merck Frosst, leading antifungal studies and bioinformatic support, and a Principal Scientist role at Elitra Canada, overseeing a genome-wide antifungal screening platform. Academic training includes a Ph.D. in Genetics from McGill University and a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China.
