Cathy Midgley

Cathy Midgley is the Director of R&D Quality at Gilead Sciences, with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including more than six years in clinical quality assurance. After graduating with a BSc Hons in Chemistry from the University of Manchester, they began their career as a research chemist at ICI in 1991. Midgley transitioned to AstraZeneca in 2000 as a Clinical Research Associate, eventually working in Clinical Quality Assurance before joining ADAMAS Consulting as a Principal Consultant in 2008. They have extensive expertise in GCP audits and pharmacovigilance, with a strong track record in managing compliance and quality assurance in clinical trials.
