Daniel Yin serves as the Senior Director of Formulation and Process Development at Gilead Sciences, providing leadership and technical expertise in small molecule injectable and oral formulation for preclinical candidates since June 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Scientific Integrator & Group Manager at Johnson & Johnson, where Daniel advanced bi-specific antibodies for oncology and supervised scientific teams for several biologic drug products. At Merck, Daniel was a Principal Scientist who developed a broad-spectrum antibiotic and led teams through the drug development process. Daniel began his career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Kansas, focusing on drug discovery in cardiovascular and infectious diseases. Academic credentials include a B.S. in Chemistry from Peking University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from The University of Kansas.
