Dolores Smith is an experienced Human Resources leader with a robust background in the pharmaceutical and consumer health sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources at Gilead Sciences since September 2021, Dolores has a proven track record from previous roles at Johnson & Johnson, including Vice President of Human Resources for the Global Supply Chain in Consumer Health and for Commercial Pharmaceuticals. Dolores's expertise encompasses talent development, diversity initiatives, organizational culture enhancement, and strategic HR leadership. Prior to these roles, positions at various Johnson & Johnson divisions provided a solid foundation in HR strategy, operations, and organizational design. Dolores holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
