James Taylor

James Taylor is the Senior Vice President and Head of Small Molecule Drug Discovery at Gilead Sciences, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, James occupied various roles at Gilead, including Senior Director and multiple research scientist positions, spanning from 2017 to 2018. They earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Harvard University (2004-2006) and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Princeton University (2000-2004), after obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley (1995-1998).
