Jing Niu

Jing Niu is an accomplished professional in the field of clinical pharmacology, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Gilead Sciences since January 2023. Previously, Jing Niu held the position of Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Innovent Biologics from December 2021 to November 2022, focusing on dose optimization and clinical pharmacology. Jing Niu's experience also includes a role as a Senior Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics Reviewer at the FDA from December 2016 to December 2021, where responsibilities encompassed inflammation and immune pharmacology related to biologics for autoimmune diseases and inhalation products for asthma and COPD. Prior to that, Jing Niu worked at the University of Maryland, Baltimore as a Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics Reviewer, and completed postdoctoral research with a focus on clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics. Early academic pursuits included a visiting scholar position at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, specializing in pharmacogenetics and pharmacometrics, as well as a Master of Science degree and residency in anesthesia from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
