Manuela Grassi

Manuela Grassi is an experienced professional in quality control for biologics, focusing on cell and gene therapy. They have held leadership roles at prominent companies, including Promega, PPD, bluebird bio, and Gilead Sciences, overseeing teams and managing complex projects in large-scale cell manufacturing and bioassays. Currently, they are pursuing a PhD in Microbiology at the University of Brescia while also working as Associate Director of QC Commercial Biologics at Gilead Sciences. Previously, they served as Senior Scientist and CMC Program Manager at Promega, where they led process improvements and managed external manufacturing and testing operations.
