Mary Alvarez

Mary Alvarez is a Master in Bioengineering with extensive professional experience in the medical device, life sciences, and combination products industry. They have worked at organizations such as Gilead Sciences, where they currently serve as Associate Director of Quality Assurance, and previously held positions at Boston Scientific and Teknova. With a strong understanding of regulatory standards for New Product Development and current Good Manufacturing Practices, Alvarez is deeply passionate about improving human health. They hold a Master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and are furthering their education in English proficiency and biotechnology engineering at Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica and Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
