Matthew Cook

Matthew Cook, PhD, is the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Projects in the CEO Office at Gilead Sciences, where they focus on strategic initiatives in biotech and biopharma. They previously served in various roles at Gilead Sciences, including Executive Director of Strategic Projects and Director of R&D Strategy and Operations. With a strong academic background, Cook earned a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Duke University and has experience as a postdoctoral scholar and genetics instructor. Prior to their current position, Cook worked as a consultant and project leader at Boston Consulting Group and developed educational content at Udacity.
