Preethi Raghavan

Preethi Raghavan, PhD, is a highly accomplished researcher in bioengineering and biomedical engineering with extensive experience in drug delivery strategies and innovative therapeutic solutions. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Gilead Sciences since July 2025, Preethi previously held a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the University of California, San Francisco, and contributed as a Graduate Student Researcher in Dr. Tejal Desai's lab. Significant contributions include developing antimicrobial nanocomplexes for treating bacterial infections, automating tissue culture processes at Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, and creating CLIA-certified testing protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. Educational qualifications include a PhD from the University of California, San Francisco, and a BS from Stanford University, both focused on bioengineering disciplines.
