Roderick Gedey

Roderick Gedey currently serves as the Associate Director of Scientific Communications for HIV Cure at Gilead Sciences since July 2024. Prior experience includes positions as Associate Director at Pfizer from March to December 2022, and various roles at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from August 2019 to March 2022, including Associate Director of Global Medical Affairs and Associate Director of Medical Writing and Publications. Roderick also worked at AbbVie from July 2013 to August 2019, holding the titles of Senior Publications Manager and Publications Manager. Earlier in the career, Roderick was an Account Manager/Medical Writer at Prescott Medical Communications Group from October 2004 to July 2013. Roderick holds an MS in Microbiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Certificate in Medical Writing and Editing from the University of Chicago - Graham School of General Studies.
