Wendy Verret

Wendy Verret has extensive experience in clinical development, having held various leadership roles in prominent biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. At Gilead Sciences, Wendy served as Executive Director and Senior Director of Clinical Development from October 2021 to December 2022. Prior to that, at Genentech, from May 2017 to October 2021, Wendy held the positions of Associate Group Clinical Science Director and Principal Clinical Scientist, where responsibilities included overseeing clinical development strategies and leading Phase 1 through III studies. Wendy's experience also includes serving as Director of Clinical Development at Pfizer, Inc., focusing on pivotal breast cancer trials, and leadership roles at APT Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Wendy's academic background includes a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MPH in Epidemiology from Columbia University.
