Dino Dvorak

Senior Director, Data Science and Platform Technologies at Gilgamesh Pharmaceuticals

Dino Dvorak has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. From 2001 to 2003, they were a Research Engineer at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Dino then moved to BioSignal Group, where they served as Chief Engineer from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, they began their graduate studies at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where they published 5 papers on animal models of brain disorders, learning & memory, and neurodevelopment. Dino also presented and co-authored 16 posters at scientific conferences in the US and Europe, and served as an ad hoc reviewer for various publications. In 2015, they became a Postdoctoral Associate at New York University, where they developed novel signal processing methods, designed and performed a study of autism model, and published a study that used machine learning to decode cognitive tasks from EEG signals. In 2018, they founded MindFox and in 2021, they joined Gilgamesh Pharmaceuticals as Senior Director of Data Science and Platform Technologies and a Data Scientist.

Dino Dvorak completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Downstate Health Sciences University between 2007 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague between 1995 and 2001.
