A subsidiary of Group STSI since April 2017, Gillet Décolletage specializes in industrial turning and precision machining of mechanical parts on traditional single- and multi-spindle lathes with numerical control. Gillet Décolletage is an industrial specialist in precision machining, with expertise in precision turning, multi-axis milled turning, CNC turning, multi-technology machining and complex geometries.

Built around our proprietary methodology Décolletage Projet® (multi-technology machining managed as a project), we support our clients from technical feasibility analysis and machining process definition to metrological validation and the delivery of components or industrial subassemblies ready for integration.

We work with a wide range of technical materials and special alloys, including brass, technical stainless steels, carbon steels, aluminum, copper and copper alloys, Inconel 718/625, Kovar, Invar and engineering plastics, mastering cutting parameters, thermal management, machine stability and material traceability.

Our capabilities include: bar turning Ø 3 to 32 mm and parts up to Ø 130 mm, traditional turning and turned parts of revolution, milled turning and combined turning-milling machining, multi-axis machining (6 to 7 axes), CNC turning, precision micromechanics, tight tolerances, controlled surface finishes, 3D metrological inspection, optical measurement, process capability (Cp/Cpk), quality control planning, FAI validation, series industrialization, cycle time optimization and reduction of rework.

We deliver single turned components, treated and inspected parts, assembled subassemblies and packaged solutions according to customer specifications.

Our application sectors include aerospace, defense, space, nuclear, medical, automotive, luxury, energy, connectivity, industrial equipment and additive manufacturing / 3D printing.
