Jonathan Gallardo

Jonathan Gallardo is an experienced journalist currently serving as a General Assignment Reporter for Gillette News Record since June 2016. Gallardo's reporting expertise spans county government, business, murder trials, and human interest stories, including unique events such as total solar eclipses. Prior to this role, Gallardo was a Columnist and Sports Editor at Cedars, where coverage focused on campus sporting events, particularly basketball and soccer, along with features on athletes and coaches. Additional freelance writing experience was gained at Springfield News-Sun and Xenia Daily Gazette, with prior internships at Athletes in Action. Gallardo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Cedarville University, complemented by minors in Bible and Creative Writing.
