Steven Dunbar

Steven Dunbar is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience at GILLIG since April 2016, where responsibilities include leading a team of engineers as a Staff Applications Engineer and overseeing NPE Controls. In this role, Steven Dunbar has been instrumental in delivering new body controller architecture and software across various vehicle platforms. Prior positions at GILLIG include Electrical Engineer I, II, and Senior I, focusing on software releases and customization management systems. In addition to engineering expertise, Steven Dunbar serves as a City Council Member and has held leadership roles such as Chair and Vice-Chair on the Planning Commission for the City of Livermore since December 2020. Steven Dunbar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Energy Policy from the University of California, Davis, and has studied at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences.
