Karen Cooper

Karen Cooper is an experienced educator with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Lower School Teacher at Gilman School since August 2020, Karen previously held various leadership and teaching roles at Nobel Learning Communities, including Principal, Assistant Principal, and Second Grade Teacher, achieving notable recognition such as the Principal Ambassador Award and Teacher of the Year Award. Earlier experience includes teaching ESL second graders at Aeolian Elementary School and coaching Speech and Debate for the Department of Defense Education Activity. Karen holds a Master of Education from Boston University and a Bachelor of Education from Mount Saint Mary College.
