Megan Brenner

Middle School Science Teacher at Gilman School

Megan Brenner is an experienced Middle School Science Teacher at Gilman School since August 2021, also serving as the Middle School Coordinator for Community, Inclusion, and Equity. Prior to this role, Megan worked as a Postbaccalaureate IRTA Fellow at the National Institute on Drug Abuse from June 2019 to August 2021, focusing on novel techniques for identifying neuronal ensembles and instructing trainees in laboratory techniques. Earlier experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Rowan University from May 2017 to May 2019, where the emphasis was on characterizing pharmacological profiles in addiction models and developing protocols for cognitive assessments in mice. Megan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Rowan University and an Associate of Science degree from Ocean County College.
