Enrico Paccagnella has extensive experience in the field of aerospace propulsion and rocketry. Enrico began their career as an Exchange Student at Koç University, conducting research on hybrid rocket motors. Enrico then worked as a Scholarship Researcher at the Università degli Studi di Padova, where they studied catalytic decomposition and advanced monopropellant rocket configurations.
Following this, Paccagnella became a Visiting Researcher at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), specializing in the design and testing of gas generators for mini launchers. Enrico also worked as a Doctoral Student and Teaching Assistant at the Università degli Studi di Padova, conducting research on hybrid rocket motors and analysis of swirling oxidizer injection.
Paccagnella later joined T4i Technology for Propulsion and Innovation as a Project Engineer, responsible for the development and flight testing of sounding rockets. Enrico continued this work at HyImpulse, where they served as a Propulsion and Test Engineer and later became the Head of Testing and Ground Facilities.
Currently, Paccagnella is employed at Gilmour Space Technologies as the Lead Propulsion Engineer, overseeing the propulsion systems of the company's space technologies. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in rocket design, testing, and hybrid propulsion systems.
Enrico Paccagnella pursued their education at the University of Padova. Enrico completed their Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from 2009 to 2012. Enrico then went on to obtain their Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from 2012 to 2015. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Space Sciences, Technologies, and Measurements from 2016 to 2019.
