Jamie Nella

Jamie Nella is an experienced propulsion engineer currently working as a Propulsion Engineer II at Gilmour Space Technologies since March 2022, previously serving as Propulsion Engineer I. Prior experience includes roles at DefendTex as a Graduate Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer and Engineering and Assembly Assistant, as well as an Aerospace Engineering Intern. Jamie has also worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at BMH Global and led the Aerostructures Team for UWA Aerospace, a club participating in the inaugural Australian University Rocket Competition. Further experience includes a position as a Variations Officer at BIM Drafting Services and self-employment as a Mathematics and Physics Tutor, achieving an average improvement of 15% in student test results. Jamie started a career in customer service as a Delivery Driver at Domino's. Jamie holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Aerospace from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Physics from The University of Western Australia.
