Roni Michaely

Roni Michaely is currently a Professor of Finance and Entrepreneurship at The University of Hong Kong. Roni is also the Founding Executive Director of HKU-TLV Innovation Hub and the Co-Founder of VirtuSwap. In addition, they serve as a Board Member for TipRanks and has held advisory roles for Gina Life, Ourcart, and Nielsen Innovate. Prior to their current positions, they were a Professor of Finance at the Geneva Finance Research Institute - University of Geneva, Cornell Tech, and Cornell University.

Roni Michaely has a strong education background with notable achievements. Roni pursued their undergraduate degree in Economics at Tel Aviv University from 1981 to 1985, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. After completing their bachelor's degree, Roni Michaely continued their academic journey at NYU Stern School of Business. From 1985 to 1990, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Finance and Economics. This comprehensive educational foundation in both economics and finance prepared him for their future endeavors.
