Badawi Dweik

Badawi is an experienced technical program manager and business development professional with over 25 years of experience and a broad background in chemical / electrochemical engineering. He has led a diverse portfolio of innovative research programs in sensors, fuel cells, electrolyzers, batteries and super-capacitors. As Chief Scientific Officer Badawi is responsible for envisioning and developing research capabilities at Giner Labs and accelerating the path of emerging technologies into the commercial market. He is currently leading the effort to develop and commercialize sensors for rapid on-site quantification of THC from recent marijuana use, also for the continuous monitoring of alcohol use by wearable biosensors. Badawi holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
