Alexander Jäger

Alexander Jäger has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alexander is currently serving as the Managing Director and COO at Gini since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Prokurist and COO at Gini from April 2022 to June 2023. Alexander also worked as the Sales Director at Gini from March 2021 to March 2022, where they led the digital transformation of major banking, insurance, and E-Commerce companies.

Before joining Gini, Alexander founded shyopa in November 2019, where they worked until January 2023. Alexander also took a sabbatical and parental leave from October 2018 to November 2019.

During their tenure at Amazon, Alexander held various roles. Alexander served as a Senior Vendor Manager Smart Home / B2B from February 2018 to September 2018, Senior Vendor Manager Business Development from April 2017 to January 2018, Vendor Manager from July 2016 to March 2017, and as a New Key Accounts Manager from July 2014 to June 2016.

Alexander's early career started at TNS Infratest in 2007, where they worked as a Senior Consultant UKP (Unterstützung komplexer Projekte) from June 2012 to June 2014, Senior Consultant Travel & Transport from October 2010 to May 2012, and as a Consultant Production Management from November 2007 to September 2010.

Prior to their professional career, Alexander Jäger served as the Managing Director at rocks. Kletterzentrum Jena from April 2005 to October 2007.

Alexander Jäger began their education in 1998 at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, where they pursued a Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics. Alexander successfully completed this program in 2005.
