Anna Peters

Anna Peters possesses extensive experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and laboratory technology, currently serving as Associate Director and Head of NGS at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. since August 2018, following previous roles as a Senior Test Engineer and Test Engineer III. Prior to that, Anna worked at Exosome Diagnostics as a Technologist, where automation applications for in-house protocols were developed. Experience at Partners HealthCare included hands-on work with library construction and NGS, mentoring technicians, improving data tracking processes, and managing projects. Anna is proficient in troubleshooting and interpreting quality control data, with a robust background in molecular biology and technology applications. Anna holds a degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, attained in 2014.
