Clement Aruada

Clement Aruada is a skilled Test Engineer 2 in Omics and Analytical Chemistry at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc., beginning in January 2023. Previously, Clement served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Tennessee Technological University, where the focus was on optimizing derivatization methods for Perfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) utilizing Gas Chromatography/Tandem Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS/MS). An internship at Ocean Spray Cranberries involved designing and validating methodologies for detecting EBDC fungicides in cranberries through Liquid Chromatography/Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-QTOF/MS). Prior experience includes roles as an Analytical Chemist in Process Development at Greenville LNG and at Geospectra Engineering Services and Consultants Limited. Clement holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Tennessee Technological University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Petroleum Resources.
