Darius Brown

Darius Brown currently serves as Lead Corporate Counsel for M&A and Strategic Transactions at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc., where responsibilities include developing legal strategies for corporate development projects and overseeing all legal aspects of deal processes. Previously, Darius held positions at Goodwin as Corporate Counsel and at Nixon Peabody LLP as an Associate, focusing on drafting and negotiating business transaction documents and engaging with corporate mergers and acquisitions. Darius has also gained valuable experience through various roles, including legal internships and clerkships in municipal and supreme judicial courts, alongside a military background as a Sergeant in both the Massachusetts Army National Guard and the United States Marine Corps. Darius holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Suffolk University Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UMass Boston, and an Associate of Arts from American Military University.
