Mike Szegedi

Mike Szegedi is an experienced engineering professional specializing in manufacturing and automation. Currently serving as a Staff Automation Manufacturing Engineer at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. since May 2019, Mike has progressed from Senior Automation Engineer 2 to various senior engineering roles throughout a career spanning over two decades. Prior to Ginkgo Bioworks, Mike held positions as Senior Manufacturing Engineer at L3 Open Water Power, Rethink Robotics, and Bluefin Robotics. Earlier experience includes a role as Manufacturing Engineer at Schwerdtle Stamp and Senior Litho Engineer at Silicon Valley Group Lithography. Mike holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
