Po-Cheng Lin

Po-Cheng Lin is a highly experienced Senior Organism Engineer at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc., where responsibilities include executing and delivering projects. Prior to this role, Po-Cheng held positions as Senior Organism Engineer 1 and Organism Engineer, focusing on developing high-throughput workflows for bacterial transformation and enzyme screening, as well as assays for quantifying amino acids. Po-Cheng earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, where innovative research included engineering cyanobacteria for enhanced production of limonene and sucrose, and developing microbial cell culture bioprocesses.
