Kevin Smyth

Kevin Smyth is currently an acquisitions analyst at Ginkgo Residential. Kevin previously worked as a summer investment analyst at Mountain Funding from May 2020 to September 2020, where they assisted with financial analysis, asset management, and due diligence on programmatic Co-GP equity investments across a broad range of property types, including multifamily, office, industrial, and retail. Kevin also evaluated current strategic partners based on performance benchmarks while pursuing new relationships with best-in-class operators. From August 2018 to August 2019, Smyth worked as a finance accountant II at Builders Mutual Insurance Company, where they managed financial resources including cash, investments, and surplus for stability and growth. Kevin also benchmarked BMIC's business results, operational and functional metrics against competitors and prepared monthly financial statements and board reports for Builders’ real estate investment, Builders First LLC. Prior to that, Smyth worked as an audit associate at Johnson Lambert LLP from January 2016 to May 2018. Kevin also interned at Johnson Lambert LLP as an audit intern from June 2014 to August 2014. Smyth's first job was as a caddy at Knickerbocker Country Club from May 2007 to July 2013.

Kevin Smyth has a Master of Science in Real Estate from UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business, a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from University of Richmond - Robins School of Business, and certification from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners as a Certified Public Accountant.
