Dan Boling has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dan started their career as a Field Engineer at Tracor Applied Sciences in 1996. Dan then worked at Sutherland as the Manager of Network Operations from 2000 to 2009, where they oversaw IT security, telecommunications, and software licensing firm-wide. Afterwards, they served as the Director of Information Technology at Sutherland from 2009 to 2012, where they had responsibilities for IT security, co-location facilities, and remote access technologies. In 2012, they joined the Washington Metropolitan Police Department as the Deputy Chief Information Officer. From 2013 to present, they have been with Ginnie Mae, first as the Technology Management Director and subsequently as the Chief Technology Architect.

Dan Boling obtained their ITIL V3 Foundation Certification from PeopleCert in 2012. From 2008 to 2011, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Strayer University-Maryland. Additionally, in 2010, they acquired a GSLC Certification in IT Security from the SANS Institute.
